Spam tokens

Definition

Spam tokens are unwanted digital assets sent to your cryptocurrency wallet without permission. These tokens are often used to trick users, mess with wallet balances, or lead them to harmful sites like phishing websites.

Recognize and Mark Tokens as Spam in Consola

Usually, tokens that don’t have a token logo and a fiat price are considered as spam tokens. However, Consola does not automatically mark these tokens as spam and leave it up to the user.

To remove them from your transaction view, and not include them in cost bases/ report calculations, go to the “Action” column in the tokens section and mark them as spam.
